Title: Restrict activities near active raptor nests between courtship and fledging
Text: "Restrict activities within 0.5 mile of active raptor nests (1 mile of active bald eagle and ferruginous hawk nests) from the period of early courtship through the fledging of chicks (generally from February 1 to August 15). With assistance from the USFWS, modifications to protective buffers may be considered when topography, vegetation, and other variables serve as natural protective buffers."
