The Utah Sage-grouse Strategic Management Plan has been designed as a framework for the local working groups (LWGs) to develop area-specific management programs to maintain, improve and restore local sage- grouse populations and their habitat. Management areas, key local issues, conservation strategies and population information are provided as a starting point for LWGs. This plan is expected to be in place until population and habitat goals are met in all management area. |
