Annotation: The Pinedale Anticline Project is located in Sublette County, Wyoming south of Pinedale and east of the Green River. This Record of Decision defines the decision and discusses the rationale and key management considerations for authorization of the Pinedale Anticline Project as evaluated in the draft and final environmental impact statements. Appendix A includes mitigation guidelines and BMPs for surface disturbing activities. Air quality, Water, Wildlife, Soils, Noise, Cultural, and Visual resources are covered.

Recommended -- "Best Management Practices are advisory rather than regulatory. ... The following are standard practices applied to surface disturbing activities. These practices are applied, when necessary, to reduce environmental impacts. …Therefore, these are believed to be the best practices available to address a variety of surface disturbance problems. These are not stipulations, but represent concerns that must be addressed in any acceptable proposed surface disturbing activity.
