This paper presents environmental performance trends collected from member companies of the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (OGP). A subsidary goal of this paper is to provide a standard to which individual member companies can compare their own environmental performance. The performance information is presented in five categories: emissions to air, aqueous discharges, discharges of non-aqueous drilling fluids on cuttings, accidental spillages of oil and chemicals, and energy consumption and flaring. |
