Approximately 150,000 Class II Injection wells are used in connection with oil and natural gas activities across the United States. Of these wells only a very small percentage have been tangentially associated with a seismic event. This report takes an in-depth look at the wells associated with seismicity and analyzes how much of a risk they truly represent to the public. |
